LIGHTBOX MANDALA SERIES

My Lightbox Mandala Series focuses on the beauty of form and color. In these abstract pieces I start with floral coral critters and create from there a mandala. I intuitively iterate each piece until I find the right symphony of color and form. Looking into the mandalas reminds me of viewing a crystal through directional light. As each mandala comes to life I chose a crystal that reflects the qualities I see in it and a new mandala crystal is born.
